SPORTS – Tennis
Since the facilities dedication on September 12, 2009, the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex has given a home to our Men’s and Women’s tennis programs right in the heart of campus. You will find the Tennis Complex right behind Knights Hall, adjacent to the Student Recreation and Fitness Center (SuRF).
The facility’s namesake, Eddie Weber, was a pillar of the Bellarmine family for nearly two decades. From 1952 to 1971 Weber was a man of many talents, serving as a professor, athletic director, intramural coordinator, and coach of the tennis, baseball, golf, cross country, basketball, and track and field teams.
The tennis complex houses 6 outdoor tennis courts with 3 indoor courts that can be found within the SuRF Center. The SuRF Center is also home to two multi-purpose basketball courts, exercise and fitness area, and locker rooms for the enjoyment of our students and staff.
